Adams County approves $162,000 CDBG revitalization grant

Commissioner Barbara Moore Holt moved and Commissioner Jason Hayslip seconded the motion, which the board approved with all members voting aye. Economic Development Director Paul Worley recommended the agreement, and Commissioner Kelly Jones was authorized to sign the contract on the county’s behalf.
The grant covers the period Sept. 1, 2025, through Oct. 31, 2027, and was entered in the county’s contract journal (See Contract Journal #104, Page 36). The board did not record additional project details, budgets at the program level, or implementation milestones during the meeting.
Next steps: the county will execute the agreement and proceed with any required subawards or project administration under the State’s CDBG rules. The meeting record did not state a timetable for local project selection or reports to the board.
