Page County Jail construction advancing, Samuel's group superintendent says

Chris Faulk, introduced to the board as the site superintendent for Samuel's group working on the Page County Jail, provided a detailed construction update, saying electrical and building automation lines are nearly complete, detention doors and frames are being installed and interior painting is about to begin.
Faulk described recent milestones: the generator has been set and the fuel tank is installed, which he said "it's got about, like, 500 gallon tank underneath it, and then the genset will, run the whole building if we lose power or something happens." He noted crews were finishing drywall and that painting, installation of dayroom frames and additional deliveries of detention frames were scheduled in the coming days.
On site work, Faulk said sidewalks and parking pours are planned, roll-up doors for the sally port are being installed and security features such as bollards around transformers are in place. He said a separate contractor was to connect gas from the fence to the main and that the county was hoping that connection would happen in April.
The board asked clarifying questions about sequencing and gravel on site; Faulk said the site would continue to change weekly as finishes and security installations progress. No formal action was required at the meeting.
