The Niles Community Schools Board unanimously approved the permanent expulsion of a student involved in a Title IX investigation for 180 days, offering enrollment in the 50D Virtual Program during the expulsion and permitting the student to petition for reinstatement in April 2027.

The Niles Community Schools Board of Education voted unanimously April 27 to permanently expel a student identified in the record only as student #021926 following a Title IX investigation. Board member Dana Daniels moved the action, which Josh Asmus seconded; the motion passed 6-0 with board member Kelly Gaideski absent.
