The Maple Valley City Council engaged in discussion Dec. 8 about proposed amendments to Title 18 of the Maple Valley Municipal Code intended to permit congregate residences in compliance with HB 1998. Economic and Community Development Director Doug McIntyre reintroduced Ordinance No. O-25-866 and Senior Planner Amy Taylor responded to council questions. No final vote was taken; the council directed that the matter return for additional review at a future meeting.
