Council backs five‑year Dearborn County park master plan, paving way for grant work

Jean Flurry, a member of the park board, described recent facility upgrades and solar installations at the county farm park and said the plan will help the board pursue grants for future improvements.
The council’s resolution (listed in the packet as 2026‑002) passed by voice vote; staff agreed to circulate a final signed copy to the auditor’s office and include the item on the next meeting agenda as needed.
The action does not itself appropriate funds; it signals county support to improve competitive eligibility for outside grant programs.
