Committee approves forwarding SUV purchase for Alternative Sentencing to Finance
The Public Safety Committee voted April 28 to forward a recommended purchase of a Durango GT from Howell and Pierson Inc. for $35,345.53 using pre-trial funds; Alternative Sentencing will return a fleet car to Car Pool. The purchase is now before the Finance Committee.

The Washington County Public Safety Committee on April 28 voted to forward to the Finance Committee a recommendation to purchase a Durango GT from Howell and Pierson Inc. for $35,345.53, using pre‑trial funds already included in the Alternative Sentencing/Youth Bureau budget. The motion was moved by Mr. O’Brien, seconded by Messrs. Rozell and Herrick, and adopted by the committee.
