President Wade H. Westfall and Commissioner Ted S. Mercer moved and seconded approval of the meeting agenda and the Feb. 19, 2026, minutes, then carried a set of resolutions by roll call; Mr. Gregory A. Simmons was recorded as absent for the session.
The board approved Resolution No. 26-02-201 to authorize and sign bills for all funds as presented. It also acknowledged receipt of the 2025–2026 annual report from Miami County Engineer Paul P. Huelskamp under Section 5543.02 of the Ohio Revised Code (Resolution No. 26-02-202).
The commissioners approved Change Proposal No. 1 for the Miami County Courthouse Renovation, Phase II, with Brian Brothers Painting and Restoration, LLC. The change order totaled $53,350 and was taken from contingency, leaving a contingency balance of $40,650; the recorded contract sum remained $1,134,553 (Resolution No. 26-02-203).
