Williams County commissioners approve routine resolutions, join CCAO workers' compensation group plan

The board considered Resolution 183, described as a CCAO group retrospective rating plan agreement applicable to rating periods beginning Jan. 1, 2027. The clerk said the purpose is to achieve lower workers' compensation costs for the group and to advance safer working conditions; the estimated cost to Williams County was stated as not to exceed $6,500 based on the total group payroll. Commissioners moved, seconded and approved the resolution by roll call.
No formal amendments were recorded and each resolution passed with the motion ‘carried’ as stated on the record. The clerk handled roll-call confirmations; the minutes record the roll-call exchanges but do not attribute each yes vote to a single speaker turn in the transcript.
Next steps: the CCAO agreement will be executed as presented and will apply to rating periods beginning Jan. 1, 2027.
