Staff estimated the position will require one to three days per week (likely stabilizing around two days per week) and will be funded from existing IT and county commission salary lines so no net new personnel costs are required.
Weinbrenner said the role will average under 20 hours per week to avoid triggering state benefits or retirement thresholds; the position will use an open FTE that previously funded another administrative function. Commissioners moved and approved the change by voice vote.
