PPL seeks easement on county property for line relocation; county told impact will be minimal
A PPL representative asked the Clinton County commissioners to grant an easement on county land along Route 664 so the utility can replace an existing line and trim trees around a relocated line; the presenter said the change should not affect county operations and will be placed on the regular agenda as appropriate.

Steve Gibson, introduced during the work session, told commissioners the utility PPL plans to retire an existing overhead power line along Route 664 and install a new line closer to the road on county-owned property adjacent to a county communications tower. Gibson said PPL requests an easement that would allow it to trim trees and maintain clearance around the relocated line.
