The Madison County Board of Supervisors adopted a series of routine committee resolutions Tuesday, approving contract renewals, budget adjustments and several appointments while issuing a proclamation designating April 6–12, 2026 as National Public Health Week.
The board approved Government Operations Committee items including three policy amendments and a gender-based violence workplace policy from human resources. The Finance, Ways and Means Committee adopted resolutions addressing a white-collar contract, a technology/server purchase, a $20,000 purchase of replacement chairs and multiple budget modifications tied to recent closings of county facilities. Finance Chair Kyle Rieger said sales tax revenue was up 3.39% compared with the same period last year.
