Broadwater County appoints Mark Wood interim sheriff
Following the resignation of the previous sheriff, the Broadwater County Commission appointed Under Sheriff Mark Wood to serve as interim sheriff until the vacancy is filled at the next general election. Wood said he has 36 years in law enforcement and will call on colleagues as needed.
