The court approved multiple subcontracts between Denton County and the University of North Texas to evaluate several court treatment programs (subcontract numbers SR10005, SR107, SR108, SR100009 and SR780), covering drug treatment court evaluations, family drug treatment court evaluation, DWI treatment court evaluation and mental health court evaluation for specified district and criminal courts.
The court also approved an interlocal cooperation agreement with the town identified in the transcript as Flaremont for the Denton Creek Boulevard Phase 1 project; Denton County agreed to contribute an amount not to exceed $1,700,000 from line item 9475769050 for the project. The court voted to accept preliminary road acceptance of DBAR Ranch Estates in Precinct 4, approved notice to relocate the Rockill Arvin Road reconstruction project in Precinct 1, and approved the purchase of a single duty weapon for Deputy Farard Rosman upon his retirement on March 31, 2026.
Most motions were moved and seconded by commissioners (recorded movers and seconders included Commissioners Mitchell, Falconer, Williams and Edmonson) and carried unanimously by voice vote.
