Springhouse Park to begin initial construction funded by $1 million state grant

Beavercreek parks staff told the advisory board on March 10 that construction will begin soon on the initial phase of Springhouse Park, paid for entirely with a $1 million state capital grant from the one-time strategic community investment fund in House Bill Two. The immediate work includes an entrance drive off Patterson Road, an approximately 30-space parking lot and a sidewalk leading to a new main play structure intended primarily for 5- to 12-year-olds.
