Representative Tiv Painter introduced House Resolution 1017 to recognize May 2026 as Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Awareness Month. Painter said the resolution was brought forward in part because a constituent in the district is suffering from ALS and asked colleagues to bring attention to the disease.
