Commission approves housing plan, multiple rezones and grant authorizations

The Gainesville City Commission on April 16 adopted the State Housing Initiative Partnership local housing assistance plan, authorized multiple transit and rural-area grant applications, and approved several rezoning ordinances. All actions recorded passed unanimously where noted; Commissioner Duncan Walker was absent for several votes.
