Bend TAP team launches online open house and schedules in-person outreach through mid‑May

Andrea described upcoming in-person opportunities to collect input: an Earth Day fair (Outland World Park) and CityFest on May 1 (downtown Bend, coinciding with First Friday). She said the online open house would remain open through May 15 and that staff will send the public‑facing link to PAC and TAC members for distribution to partner agencies.
Why it matters: the engagement phase is intended to complement the crash-data screening by capturing lived experience and near‑misses not recorded in crash reports. Andrea said the team will use public input together with the technical results to identify about 10 priority locations for more detailed study.
Next steps: staff asked for PAC comments by May 17 to finalize the memo and then will present a slate of strategies and priority locations later this summer or early fall for committee review.
