Elbert County OKs two road‑acceptance resolutions and appoints library trustee
The board unanimously approved accepting roads in Spring Valley Ranch (asphalt maintenance only) and areas of the Independent subdivision for full county maintenance, and appointed Ruth Anne Stricker to the Pines and Plains Library Board of Trustees.

Elbert County Public Works Director Monty Henkins recommended the board accept roads from previously approved subdivision improvement agreements. "I'm recommending today that you move forward on these two action items with accepting these roads," Henkins said, referring to Spring Valley Ranch filing five (phase one) and the Independent subdivision filings.
