Municipal attorney: Title 8 changes effective; APD supervisors trained as joint state task force launches

Municipal Attorney Eva Gardner told the Assembly rules committee that recent Title 8 penal-code changes are in effect, APD supervisors began training with a target date of March 16 for officer readiness, and the mayor and governor announced a joint state-municipal quality-of-life task force to coordinate prosecutions and public-safety work.
