Committee recommends budget resolution to cover Wisconsin DOT connecting-highways work
Public Works Director Josh Moritz asked the committee to recommend a budget resolution to cover the city’s share of newly identified Wisconsin DOT road projects; the committee approved forwarding the resolution, with the city’s 2026 share estimated at $2,750.

Public Works Director Josh Moritz reviewed several Wisconsin Department of Transportation rehabilitation and reconstruction projects affecting State Highway 13 (Veterans Parkway) and State Highway 97 (North Central Avenue). Moritz said two projects already had state-municipal financial agreements but the DOT later identified a third joint-repair project on Veterans Parkway from Calvin Avenue to Chestnut Avenue.
