The project is part of a broader Central Park master plan that includes multiple design and engineering contracts; staff said engineering and demolition work are either underway or planned with additional procurement to follow.
The $142,500 agreement covers architectural design and construction administration for the building remodel; staff said other professional services (engineering, playground and splash pad designers, site utilities) will be procured separately. Council voted to approve the CNH contract and directed staff to proceed with master‑plan coordination and subsequent procurements.
