At the end of the April 14 work session, the chair announced the board would enter closed session under section 2.2‑3711(A) of the Code of Virginia (Va. Freedom of Information Act), specifically subsection (1) to discuss the evaluation of a specific employee and personnel disciplinary matters, and subsection (2) to discuss student matters involving student records.
