Jill Gabaldi, supervising permit services technician with the city’s Planning and Economic Development (PED) division, led the presentation and said the department issues land use, building and operating permits and provides links to zoning maps, application materials and guidance on the city website. "Planning land use first," Gabaldi said, advising prospective tenants and landlords to confirm zoning and required land-use approvals before pursuing building permits or business tax certificates.
