The Cathedral City Planning Commission voted unanimously April 15 to recommend that the City Council adopt a mitigated negative declaration and approve Forest Lawn—athedral City Specific Plan, a proposal to redevelop 10 acres at Raone Road and Deval Drive for expanded cemetery uses and facilities, after the applicant provided additional illustrative materials addressing prior design concerns.

The Cathedral City Planning Commission on April 15 recommended that the City Council adopt a mitigated negative declaration under the California Environmental Quality Act and approve a general plan amendment, zone change and the Forest Lawn Cathedral City Specific Plan for a 10-acre site at the southwest corner of Raone Road and Deval Drive.
