Event operating income rose to about $675,000, nearly double 2024 results.
Winters credited three main drivers: a simplified, more turnkey rental fee structure that reduced surprise add‑on charges for clients; targeted sales and marketing hires (a sales manager and marketing manager hired mid‑2024); and strengthened partnerships, including Arts Foundation Federal Way, which helped expand free community events and arts-for-youth programs. "We did a lot more events this year than we have previously," Winters said, noting expanded community outreach tied to Chalkfest, Earth Day, a fall festival and a summer film series.
Council members praised the PACK team and encouraged continued focus on accessibility and free community programming. Staff said the resident‑arts support program cost $73,000 in 2025 but was subsidized in part by grants and foundation support, bringing net program costs down.
Next steps: Winters will report first‑quarter 2026 results against updated management goals and continue work to expand accessible ticketing tiers and community events.
