At a March 12 working session of the Fairfax County Architectural Review Board, Lake Anne of Reston representatives presented feasibility work on replacing the community’s chilled-water service, and a large turnout of residents raised technical, preservation and governance objections to proposals for balcony-mounted mini‑split heat pumps.
