A local resident urged the Fuquay Varina Planning Board to adopt stronger tree-replacement requirements after saying multiple developments have removed trees and not restored canopy. Carlos Ferrera identified himself and said he lives at 516 Lump Point Loop; he told the board new developments "wipe out everything" and encouraged the town to require tree replacement so neighborhoods retain their character.
