INDOT to adopt AASHTO safety software; Monroe MPO uploads traffic counts to INDOT database

Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) plans to adopt the AASHTO safety-analysis software suite to replace an older, locally developed tool, staff told the Monroe County MPO Technical Advisory Committee on April 22. INDOT’s rollout will include beta testing this summer and fall and planned system-wide use beginning Jan. 1.
