Tama County supervisors approve routine permits, budget amendment and claims; note cybersecurity attempts

At its May 4 meeting the board approved an Iowa DOT utility permit, a DOT budget amendment for the engineer’s office, accepted the FY25 cost-allocation certificate, and approved claims totaling $64,463.91. Supervisor Turner reported two attempted cyberattacks that were stopped; the board scheduled follow-ups on public-health services and local appointments.
