Developer withdraws proposed Edbert–Centennial roundabout after resident concerns
Summary
Designers will restart the Edbert and Centennial intersection design and have scrapped a proposed roundabout after property-owner concerns; the application was withdrawn from the agenda for redesign.
At the April 20 meeting, county staff reported that the developer and designers will withdraw a prior design that included a roundabout at Edbert and Centennial after meeting with neighbors who expressed concerns.
"The designers are actually going to restart the design process and completely scrap the roundabout," County Administrator Kyle told the board, adding that the flagged yard markers were largely for utility purposes and that the new design will address resident feedback.
Because the design is being restarted, the developer’s request was withdrawn from tonight’s agenda and no action was required. Staff said the withdrawal should address the immediate concerns and that the design will return to the board in revised form once complete.
