Trustee asks whether any students would lose access as board approves curriculum change removing Wilson program
The Patchogue-Medford Board approved removal of a program listed as item 9.11 (changes to programs of study). Trustee Trustine Kuban asked whether any currently enrolled students would lose access; district staff said Wilson had already been phased out at the elementary level and there are no current elementary or middle-school students still receiving Wilson.

The Patchogue-Medford Union Free School District Board of Education on Dec. 8 approved a consent-agenda change that removed and then approved Item 9.11 — the recommended additions and deletions to programs of study, which included the removal of the Wilson program from district offerings.
