Later, Mr. Lloyd said recurring heavy parking during church services and electrical-union elections near 1330 Livingston Avenue has blocked buses and could delay emergency vehicles; he asked for the township to coordinate with the union and religious institutions to prevent unsafe parking. The police chief agreed to seek the union’s election schedule so the township can allocate patrol resources during those events.
