Kane County adopts ordinance requiring conditional-use projects to start within two years
The Kane County Commission adopted Ordinance No. o 2026-12 revising the Land Use Ordinance to require action authorized by a conditional-use permit to commence within two years of issuance; the Planning Commission may grant one-year extensions for good cause. The motion carried unanimously.
