Lyon County Community Development reports faster permit reviews, website updates and active projects
Community Development Director Gavin Henderson told the planning commission on May 12 the department received 159 permits in April, completed 817 inspections, reduced plan-review times to about 2–3 weeks, launched website tools to track applications, and highlighted projects including a Boys & Girls Club facility, a compressed natural gas trucking station proposal and the Microsoft data center administrative review.
