The Delaware County Board of Commissioners took up an invoice from Cherokee Nation for preliminary engineering on Bridge #30 in District 1 at its March 17 meeting. Chairman David Poindexter described the arrangement as a pass-through: Cherokee Nation would front the engineering costs and the county would later invoice the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) for reimbursement.
