East Grand Forks council adopts cannabis ordinance, removes $2 utility 'green site' fee and approves routine items

Council approved the purchase and installation of an Indico explosion-proof duct heater from Johnson Controls for $55,350 and authorized placement of a memorial sign in memory of Dave Akre at the Griggs Park playground.
In a separate motion the council adopted Resolution 25-07-52 to remove the $2 monthly green site fee from residential and commercial utility bills; the motion was moved by Council Member Caes and seconded by Council Member Peterson and carried by roll call.
