Weld County commissioners recognized Mary Treslo at their April 29 meeting with a certificate of appreciation as she retires after more than a decade with the county and a 42-year career in information technology.
Victor (an IT colleague) and commissioners praised Treslo for guiding the county through its Workday ERP project, delivering the implementation on time and under budget, and for her long record of customer-service focus across departments. "Mary immediately made a positive impact to our organization," a staff member said, noting her role as director of applications and database for nearly nine years.
Treslo told the board she initially planned to work five years after joining in 2014 but stayed because of strong leadership and a positive work environment. She thanked the board, colleagues and her family, and noted Commissioner James had asked her to remain until the ERP project was completed. Commissioners offered tributes applauding her professionalism and commitment and invited Treslo and her family for a photo.
The recognition was presented as part of the meeting's presentations and proclamations; no formal action beyond the certificate was recorded.
