Jenny Dean Elementary construction on schedule, district facilities director says
The district’s director of facilities reported that the new Jenny Dean Elementary School is being enclosed and interior work is advancing; board members asked about completion timing and spending and were told the project was on time and within budget though a specific current expenditure figure was not provided.

Russ Helton, director of facilities and maintenance, updated the board on construction progress at the Jenny Dean Elementary School, saying crews focused in March and April on closing in the roof, installing Terrazzo flooring in the kindergarten wing, and sealing clerestory windows. Mechanical equipment has arrived and the contractor is progressing on interior walls and classrooms, Helton said.
