Broken Arrow board approves four principal appointments
The Broken Arrow Board of Education unanimously approved four principal hires — Deidra Cleaver (Oliver Middle), Todd Great House (Oneta Ridge Middle), Leslie Officer (Sequoyah 8th Grade Academy) and Kim Archer (Sequoyah Middle) — after personnel recommendations from district staff.

Ms. Peterson, the district personnel presenter, asked the board to approve several principal recommendations, saying staff at the affected schools identified leadership qualities they wanted in future principals. "I'm coming to you tonight to ask for approval for Ms. Deidra Cleaver to serve as the principal of Oliver Middle School," she told the board and noted Cleaver formerly served as a teacher and assistant principal at Oliver. The board moved, seconded and approved Cleaver's appointment by roll call.
