Committee backs Zettler Design Studio proposal for Columbia Park band shell; donor pledges $50,000

Justin Casperson, parks and recreation director, presented the Columbia Park band shell restoration project and said staff solicited proposals from firms with historic-preservation experience. Casperson said the staff review found the proposal from Zettler Design Studio best aligned with the project’s intent and that prior committee and Board of Public Works approvals recommended the selection and contract authorization contingent on this committee’s budget resolution.
