Santa Rita board hears update on modernization, TIP facility and developer-fee study

District staff updated the Santa Rita Union School Board on the progress of multiple modernization projects, a new Therapeutic Intervention Program (TIP) facility shared with Monterey County Office of Education (MCOE) Head Start, and an upcoming developer-fee study.
The board was told that phase-one modular sections have been delivered and craned onto foundations, and that weather-permitting crews will complete exterior finishes, interior systems and inspections before furniture installation. Staff said the contractor is aiming for a November–December occupancy window but cautioned timelines remain subject to change.
