Commissioner Baker McCormack’s disclosure resolution sent to full commission

Commissioner Baker McCormack introduced a resolution at the Wayne County Ways and Means committee urging mandatory disclosure requirements to inform prospective home buyers that property taxes may increase following transfer of ownership. Committee members discussed the staff‑drafted language and a motion to send the resolution to the full County Commission for consideration was moved by Commissioner Baker McCormack and supported by Commissioner Scott. The committee approved forwarding the draft to the full commission.
