Edwin Wayne Grant addressed the board during the public-comment portion of the March 23 meeting, criticizing the installation of roundabouts in local municipalities and urging caution about public spending.
Grant, who provided multiple home addresses for the record, said he has seen roundabouts installed in places he deems unnecessary, including a recently installed roundabout in the city of Greeley (transcribed as "Gley"). "This is a roundabout in the city of Greeley that was completely and totally unnecessary," Grant said, adding that he was concerned about costs and questioned whether some projects amount to wasteful spending.
The chair thanked Grant for his comment; no other members of the public requested to speak and the meeting was adjourned.
