Committee members say assessor RFP process was not followed, cite Wisconsin Administrative Code
Members of the Weston Finance & Human Resource Committee raised concerns that staff did not follow the evaluation procedures set out in the assessor RFP and discussed potential inconsistency with Wisconsin Administrative Code ch. 10.08 governing procurement practices.

Committee member Brad Brett told the Weston Finance & Human Resource Committee that the committee's written RFP specified how assessment services proposals should be evaluated and that the committee's work did not follow that process. Brett read portions of the RFP aloud, including the passage that said, "Final selection, the village board will select an assessment firm based upon the recommendation of the finance and human resource committee."
