Sheriff Austin Garrett told the Hamilton County finance committee that his office is seeking a targeted fiscal increase to cover pay, technology and unavoidable service-cost growth. "Our total increase ask is 4.8% over last year's fiscal," Garrett said, listing a $3.42 million operating increase and an additional capital outlay request as the drivers of the proposal.
