Planning staff briefed the council on a resolution asking the council to permit the regional planning commission (RPC) to continue delegating final and minor plat approvals to staff under the rules in Public Chapter 994 (Tennessee). The chapter allows staff‑level review but sets maximums—up to 25 lots for final plats and 2–5 lots for minor plats—and requires local governments served by the RPC to approve the delegation by resolution.
