Council introduces code codification ordinance and votes to proceed

A member of the public (Chris Coyle) asked whether the codified ordinances are available online and in print; staff confirmed a codified version is available on the city website and that the city keeps printed copies for council.
The clerk called the roll: "Yes" votes were recorded as five in favor, none opposed for the bill introduction. The item was placed on the record as introduced; no final adoption vote was recorded in the public transcript for immediate enactment.
The council did not take additional substantive public testimony on the ordinance beyond the access question; the matter will continue through the normal codification process.
