Minocqua Plan Commission begins 10-year comprehensive plan update
At the April 28 meeting the Plan Commission and North Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission staff reviewed chapters of the town's comprehensive plan and recorded initial notations; the chairman emphasized the 10-year update cycle and regional staff will support the process.

Chairman Mark Hartzheim told the Plan Commission on April 28 that the Town of Minocqua must update its comprehensive plan every 10 years. Sam Wessel of the North Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission attended to guide the process as the commission reviewed the next three chapters of the existing plan and recorded initial notations for updates.
