The board recognized his role in emergency responses to flooding and other events and his oversight of landfill operations.
"I appreciate the board's willingness to give me the opportunity to work another four more years with you," Hennon said after the roll-call vote.
The board approved the reappointment by roll call; all commissioners voted in the affirmative.
