Council adopts emergency natural-gas aggregation ordinance; resolution to join workers-comp program also passes
Council adopted Ordinance No. 21 (emergency) authorizing a natural-gas aggregation agreement if the accepted rate is at or below Duke Energy's gas cost; the measure passed unanimously (seven ayes). Council also approved Resolution R4-2026 to enroll in a 2027 workers-compensation group retrospective rating program.
